Unknown speaks to children in Markt Schwaben – Ebersberg

An unknown person approached several school children in Markt Schwaben, the police are now reporting. The first incident happened on September 23rd. A man spoke to two schoolgirls aged seven and eight after school and said he wanted to show them his rabbits and cats. According to the police, the children, who were on their way from elementary school to the lunchtime care, reacted correctly, refused and ran away. The man didn’t try to hold her either.

After the incident, the after-school care center and the primary school were informed, and the school children were also made more aware, according to the Poing police. Another case was reported on Wednesday, this time, according to the police, four children aged nine were approached, under the same guidelines as in the first case.

Since the stranger spoke to several children at the same time in a place that was quite busy at the end of the school day, the police say they are not necessarily assuming criminal intentions, but are doing everything they can to clarify the facts and identify the stranger.

According to the description, the man was 1.70 to 1.75 meters tall, slim, had short gray hair, a three-day beard, dark clothes and a fanny pack. His age is estimated by the children to be between 40 and 70 years old. The Poing police will take tips on telephone number (08121) 99 17-0.

On Thursday afternoon, the police then reported that, according to testimonies from school children, a 75-year-old had been found in the school area around 1 p.m. He admitted that he was also there on Wednesday, but denied that he had spoken to children there. To be on the safe side, the man was instructed accordingly during a conversation.
