An unknown person in the district used firecrackers to break into cigarette machines. This is now reported by the Ebersberg police. On December 27th or 28th, the stranger struck in Glonn. Here he put several firecrackers into the slot of a vending machine near a convenience store and ignited them. He then levered open the machine through the resulting bulge and stole the cigarettes stored inside.
According to the police, a similar attempt was made at a machine in Bavaria, but the perpetrator failed. The procedure with a machine near Bruck was successful again. Here the stranger stole cigarettes on Tuesday night. The extent of the damage was initially not known. The Ebersberg police are now hoping for information from witnesses, who can call (08092) 8268-0.
