According to our colleagues from Actu.frin Moselle, miniature radars will soon be installed in the city center of Metz. In fact, the old ones have been declared obsolete, and a new generation of radars is about to be deployed to control vehicle traffic in the heart of the city.
It is an investment that police officers hope will be more effective than the previous one: these mini-radars will thus replace those which were fixed on red lights at the intersection of several arteries in the city.
Very effective mini-radars
This new generation is renowned for its reliability and great discretion. They are called miniature urban radars and they offer the possibility of being attached to any support, whether it is a red light or a street lamp. This urban terrain equipment has the merit of being particularly effective in town: capable of discreetly flashing offending motorists.
This new equipment will make it possible to renew the fleet of radars installed in city centers, a system already deployed in certain municipalities. They are currently focusing on speeding and crossing red lights.
