On the 33rd day of the war, fighting in Ukraine continues. Russia controls parts of the country to the north, east and south, but is facing fierce resistance there.
In an interview with Russian journalists, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin of delaying the peace talks. In the hour-and-a-half video conversation, Zelenskyy once again called for Russian troops to be withdrawn from Ukrainian territory. Only then can there be security guarantees for Ukraine, which in turn are the basis for the NATO renunciation of Ukraine demanded by Moscow, according to the Ukrainian head of state.
