Ukraine-News: Apparently two dead in the Russian border region of Belgorod

The The region’s police chief, Andriy Nebytov, explains that after the renewed Russian attack on Kiev “five houses were damaged”, probably due to falling rocket parts. The night air alarm lasted “more than two hours”.

As the head of the military and civil administration, Serhiy Popko, reports on Telegram, Russia is using X-101 and X-555 missiles and Iranian Shahed-type drones in the latest wave of attacks. This is the sixth Russian airstrike in six days, Popko explains.

The nocturnal shelling of Ukraine by Russia has increased massively since the beginning of May, especially around Kiev. Ukraine has denounced this strategy as terror against the civilian population, while the country’s army said it was completing preparations for a counter-offensive. Moscow, on the other hand, says its “successful” attacks were directed against military targets.
