Two men arrested after 30 burglaries

The criminals acted as an organized gang, using stolen vehicles to break down the facades of businesses, particularly tobacco shops and convenience stores. These criminal acts took place in several regions, with a series of nighttime raids which particularly affected the departments of Pays-de-la-Loire and Brittany.

Coordinated operations

Law enforcement was able to identify this team after a careful investigation that lasted several months. The criminals struck in six different departments, including Loire-Atlantique, Morbihan, and Deux-Sèvres, where several attacks took place. Vehicles used in burglaries were often burned after the fact to erase the evidence.

A joint operation by the gendarmes and the police, mobilizing more than 130 agents, led to the arrest of three suspects in three Traveler camps located in Rezé and Saint-Herblain (44), all already known to the police. . The latter were placed in detention.
