The woman from Winterberg finished the World Cup with brakewoman Neele Schuten in Sigulda, Latvia, in 1:41.73 minutes and distanced the world champion duo Kim Kalicki/Anabel Galander by 0.14 seconds. This extended her lead from ten points in the overall standings to 35 points. Third went to Kaillie Humphries/Kaysha Love of the USA, 0.24 seconds behind the winner.

The victory in Sigulda is a special success for Olympic champion Nolte. She has had problems on the difficult track in the past and has fallen often. The duo also shone with excellent start times. Kalicki gambled away the chance to win and thus the overall World Cup in the lower area of ​​the track, where she skied uncleanly and lost a lot of time.
