The Paris Court of Appeal on Wednesday canceled due to prescription the indictments of two former executives of the Shipyards Department for homicide and involuntary injuries in the investigation into the attack in Karachi (Pakistan) in 2002, a learned AFP from sources familiar with the matter.
These indictments had been notified in June 2022 by mail to Gérard C., site manager, and Alain Y., project manager on the contracts for the Agosta 90B submarines, which had until then been placed under the more favorable status assisted witness in the section concerning possible breaches in terms of security of this judicial information.
