Twelve suspected drug dealers arrested – Bavaria

The criminal police arrested twelve alleged members and helpers of a drug dealer gang from the Bamberg area. According to the investigators on Tuesday, some suspects are said to have brought cocaine and marijuana worth millions to the accomplices in the Bamberg district as couriers. There they would have resold the drug to regional buyers. The suppliers traveled to Bamberg by car or train and hid the drugs in suitcases, it said.

Among other things, the accused are said to have obtained several kilograms of marijuana and several hundred grams of cocaine from a backer in North Rhine-Westphalia. According to the police and the public prosecutor’s office, the alleged gang members made more than half a million euros in sales in 2021 alone and bought expensive cars. Nine of the twelve arrested were now in custody, it was said – including the 38-year-old alleged main perpetrator and the man behind from North Rhine-Westphalia.
