TV presenter Markus Lanz is honored with the honorary award of the Bavarian Prime Minister “Blue Panther TV & Streaming Award”. Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) thus honors the achievements of the 53-year-old on German television. The award ceremony will take place on October 19th.
“Markus Lanz is a smart, persistent and always meticulously prepared talk show host,” emphasized Söder on Wednesday in Munich. With the program “Lanz”, the moderator brought complex debates and topics to his audience in an understandable and entertaining way. “Thanks to the statements and details that Markus Lanz can tease out in his unrivaled way, he has achieved a unique position in the German television landscape.” The “Blaue Panther TV & Streaming Award” was previously known as the Bavarian TV Award and will be held under a new name for the first time this year.
