A bunk becomes free in the Australian jungle: a candidate leaves the TV show and is really surprised by her expulsion. The other campers can continue bickering and collecting stars.

Radio presenter Verena Kerth is the first candidate to leave the jungle camp. “Great, yes,” said the girlfriend of singer Marc Terenzi and ex of “Goalkeeper Titan” Oliver Kahn after being kicked out. For the 41-year-old, the decision was visibly surprising – especially since the jungle campers had thought a few moments before the announcement that no one from the RTL show “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” is chosen.

What else happened

Model Tessa Bergmeier and reality actress Cecilia Asoro bickered. Bergmeier often said “sister” or “baby” to Asoro, but it upset her. “I don’t want people to talk to me like that.” Before that, the two squabblers came to the camp empty-handed after a treasure hunt gone awry.

Designer Claudia Effenberg, singer Cosimo Citiolo and reality star Gigi Birofio did better in a tried and tested jungle test. They had to master a course with a convertible buggy – Birofio gave the signals and was not allowed to speak, Citiolo sat with his back to the direction of travel and explained to driver Effenberg how she has to steer despite opaque glasses so that the three campers with her vehicle reach the finish line reach. The yield: seven stars for the candidates.
