Barbara Schöneberger’s show has little to smile about and has to admit defeat to the international match. Behind them, the other stations are sometimes in a head-to-head race.

The national soccer team’s first international match after the early end of the World Cup in Qatar drew around six million people in front of their television sets. The 2-0 victory of the DFB selection against Peru saw 6.37 million viewers on ZDF on Saturday evening. The broadcaster thus secured a market share of 25.3 percent.

In the first, Barbara Schöneberger presented a new edition of the show “Do you understand fun?”. That interested an average of 3.12 million viewers (13.2 percent). RTL had the casting show “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” in its program. This was viewed by 2.02 million people (8.1 percent).

On Sat.1, the action comedy “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” attracted 1.07 million (4.2 percent). Vox reached 970,000 viewers (3.9 percent) with the sci-fi action film “Battleship”.
