On the evening of the DFB Cup final, football fever was greater than crime love: 6.0 million people tuned in to ZDF at 8 p.m. to watch the decisive game between RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt. That meant a market share of a whopping 27.9 percent on Saturday evening.

The Saxons won the DFB Cup for the second time in their young club history. The crime thriller on ARD came in second place in prime time at 8:15 p.m.: 3.58 million viewers tuned in to “Landkrimi: Steirertod” (market share: 16.5 percent).

“RTL Saturday Night – The Reunion” came in third. 0.96 million (4.7 percent) watched the comedy show. Sat.1 showed the digital animation film “Ice Age – Collision Ahead!” and thus reached 0.67 million people (3.1 percent). ProSieben showed a repeat of the game show “Joko vs. Klaas – The Duel Around the World” from 2012, which was watched by 0.48 million (2.4 percent).

At the same time, Vox broadcast the US action comedy “Taffe Mädels” with Sandra Bullock, reaching 0.65 million viewers (3.0 percent). 0.60 million people (2.8 percent) wanted to see “9-1-1 Emergency Call LA” on Kabel Eins. RTLzwei lured 0.32 million in front of the television (1.5 percent) with the dating show “Adam sucht Eva”. The thriller romance “Duplicity – Common Secret Matter” with Julia Roberts and Clive Owen ran on ZDFneo – 0.27 million watched (1.2 percent).
