She is a linguistic genius, model and presenter. Last fall, she once again presented an edition of “Wetten, dass..?” alongside Thomas Gottschalk. Now Michelle Hunziker is 45.
Michelle Hunziker has split from her husband Tomaso Trussardi after seven years of marriage. The two announced in mid-January. After ten years together, they wanted to change their life project, the statement said, quoted by the Italian news agency Ansa.

The blonde beauty has hosted pretty much every major show on German television in her career. As a model, she gave her career the first boost. Even if her attempts as an actress and singer flopped, she looks back on a successful time so far. Michelle Hunziker turns 45 today.
Born in Lugano, Switzerland in 1977, the television presenter began her career as a catalog model in Bologna. The daughter of a Dutch woman and a Swiss artist made a name for herself in 1993. In the years that followed, the first moderations in Italy and Switzerland followed. She achieved her breakthrough at home in 1998 with the moderation of the comedy show “Paperissima Sprint”, which was broadcast during prime time.
Star moderator in Germany
This was followed by major moderations in Germany. In 1998 she moderated the Golden Camera with entertainer Thomas Gottschalk and from 2002 to 2004 with Carsten Spengemann the successful casting show “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”. From 2009 she moderated “Wetten, dass ..?” together with Thomas Gottschalk. until the show’s cancellation in 2011. Ten years later, in November 2021, the show made a comeback. In 2012 she sat with her companions Dieter Bohlen and Thomas Gottschalk on the jury of the RTL casting show “Das Supertalent”.
Hunziker also regularly hosts shows in Switzerland and Italy. For many years she was part of the satirical show “Striscia la notizia”, which liked to crack jokes about former Italian President Silvio Berlusconi. Hunziker has already received several awards. In addition to the Italian television prize, she received the Swiss television prize in the “Star” category in 2012.
talent for languages
Thanks to her multicultural family, Hunziker has a talent for languages. Besides Italian, she speaks French, German, English and Dutch. She has an adult daughter with the Italian singer Eros Ramazotti, and two other girls with Tomaso Truassardi.
