Turkish electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Togg has announced a strategic partnership with Ava Labs to design and build smart contracts aimed at improving autonomous driving.
Togg’s collaboration with Ava Labs, the team dedicated to advocating and developing the Avalanche public blockchain, was unveiled at CES 2022 in Las Vegas. Togg’s Mobility was born, which combines technologies and transportation solutions to produce vehicles that are more functional than traditional EVs.
As an official announcement, Togg has been exploring use cases for blockchain and related technologies in EVs for over a year. Through the Ava Labs partnership, Togg intends to combine the Internet of things (IoT) and communications between machine-to-machine (M2M) to expand and accelerate the capabilities of EVs
Togg will use Smart contracts and blockchain technology to allow users to continue their journey by scooter or taxi. while parked at the charging station making it possible to move smoothly
Additionally, the Ava Labs partnership will allow Togg to store vehicle maintenance and parts data on the Avalanche blockchain, which will then be used as reliable data for the second-hand market.
Ava Labs CEO Emin Gün Sirer said that the Avalanche blockchain has “the fastest smart contracts in the industry” and can be used in scalable applications worldwide.
