Midfielder Declan Rice, who has been courted by numerous top clubs, is considered the ideal solution at FC Bayern. Now a decision is in the offing – which the people of Munich should not like.

According to media reports, the possible move from midfielder Declan Rice to FC Bayern Munich is in danger of failing.

There is no movement in the negotiations between the Bundesliga soccer club, the 24-year-old English international and his current club West Ham United, the TV broadcaster Sky reported. Arsenal are now the favorites to sign the midfielder, the English newspaper Telegraph reported.

The Londoners are said to be ready to invest 92 million pounds (around 107 million euros) for Rice. Negotiations are said to be ongoing and making progress. The people of Munich, on the other hand, have not had any further talks with the West Ham professional according to Sky information and have not made any offers either. Rice’s contract runs until 2025.

Amrabat as an alternative to Rice?

The 24-year-old, who is one of West Ham’s top performers and also wore the captain’s armband, has long been courted by international clubs. Club chairman David Sullivan recently confirmed after the Hammers won the Conference League that Rice would leave the club in the summer.

According to reports, national player Thilo Kehrer’s team-mate is at the top of the list at FC Bayern, and there is said to have been a meeting with coach Thomas Tuchel. Sky are now bringing AC Fiorentina’s Moroccan Sofyan Amrabat into play as a possible alternative to Rice. The Munich should therefore deal with the 26-year-old.
