Because of the freezing rain in the region, there were about a dozen accidents on the highway sections in the district on Wednesday, according to the police inspectors, until the early afternoon, reports the traffic police. A car accident also occurred on the county road between Moorenweis and Grafrath, in which one person was injured. At Leonhardsplatz in Bruck, a driver lost control of the car and drove over a traffic sign.
