Towards a trial for 16 members of an anti-Muslim group who wanted to poison halal food

The National Anti-Terrorist Prosecutor’s Office (Pnat) on Tuesday requested a trial before the criminal court for thirteen men and three women suspected of having prepared violent actions against Muslims in France between 2017 and 2018, AFP learned on Friday from sources close to the case.

These sixteen members of the clandestine group “Action of the operational forces” (AFO) are suspected by the anti-terrorist justice of having, to varying degrees, searched for weapons, manufactured explosives, scouted mosques with a view to attacks or planned to poison halal food in the supermarket with a component of rat poison.
