Top Management: Firms Ignoring Women Are Harming Themselves – Economy

You emphasize the value of the family, but in the large German family businesses, it is above all men who rule. That has to change, not only, but also for economic reasons.

It will take 58 years until there is parity in the 100 largest German family businesses, i.e. there are as many women as men on the executive boards and management boards. At least if they keep up the pace of the past two years. That predicts the Allbright Foundation in a study. According to this, 68 have no woman at all on the board or management. You should be ashamed. Ironically, those who often and unctuously talk about the value of the family, who emphasize how important it is for the company. Those who praise diversity on their websites deny women access to executive floors – be they from their own family or external managers.
