But in the Austrian ski resort of Ischgl there is snow in some places.
Winter sports enthusiasts still get their money’s worth there – at least in theory.
Because anyone who is currently on a skiing holiday in Ischgl will not be alone on the slopes.
This Tiktok video with around five million views shows the chaos.
Crowded pistes, hardly any space – especially in the afternoon, the valley run is said to get jammed up.
In the comments, many users are rather happy to have decided against a winter vacation this year.
However, the video is not an isolated case. The slopes are crowded where there is snow this year.
Winter sports fans can only hope that the situation will be different next year.
