Three pretty baby cheetahs visible at the Palmyre zoo

At the end of May, three little cheetahs were born at the Palmyre zoo near Royan in Charente-Maritime. This zoological park has reproduced this species since 1992. Since that date, around a hundred cheetah births have been recorded by the zoo.

The female and her young have spent a month and a half in an enclosure out of sight, but they are now installed near the visitor aisle, announces this Friday the zoo on its Facebook page.

The cheetah is a species classified as vulnerable on the red list of the international union for the conservation of nature (IUCN). There are now less than 7,000 cheetahs left in the wild in the wild, says the zoo.
