Thomas Ruyant takes on Sam Goodchild for an unprecedented challenge

A good-natured atmosphere. This is what we hope for TR Racing with the arrival of British skipper Sam Goodchild. The structure created by Thomas Ruyant, skipper 20 minutes has followed for the past four years on all oceans, and Alexandre Fayeulle is embarking on an innovative project: having two boats engaged on the Vendée Globe 2024.

The first helmed by Sam Goodchild, who recovers the sailboat with which Thomas Ruyant won the Transat Jacques-Vabre 2021 and the Route du Rhum 2022. The second piloted by the sailor from Dunkirk, and of which we only know the hull. Indeed, the Imoca must be launched in mid-March in Lorient.

TR-Racing announces “moving up a gear” by piloting “technically and sportingly two Imoca projects, convinced that this operation will feed and optimize the performance of the team at all levels”. No wave to the soul on the horizon.
