This is how BW wants to react to the VGH decision – SWR Aktuell

According to SWR information, the BW state government wants to reinstate the tiered system of the Corona regulation next week. The reason is a VGH decision on “Alarm Level II”.

The Baden-Württemberg state government is reacting to a ruling by the Administrative Court (VGH) in Mannheim and wants to reinstate the previous tiered system next week. A government spokeswoman confirmed this to SWR. How the stages will be designed in the future and what will then apply in concrete terms should be clarified in the course of the day. The new rules are expected to be published on Monday. The Administrative Court had declared the freezing of “Alarm Level II” to be probably illegal without taking into account the seven-day hospitalization incidence and suspended the Corona Ordinance for universities from Monday.

VGH: It is illegal to exclude unvaccinated students

The Administrative Court of Baden-Württemberg had decided that it is currently not legal to largely exclude unvaccinated students from face-to-face operations. He saw the regulation as a significant restriction of fundamental rights – and it could not be imposed separately from the incidence of hospitalization. The VGH will also decide on further lawsuits against the current Corona rules, for example in retail and in fitness studios.

In Baden-Württemberg, the 2G regulation at universities will be suspended from next week. That was decided by the VGH in Mannheim.
