Thirteen residents evacuated from their building which threatens to collapse

Thirteen residents of a building in the town of Cazères, south of Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), had to be evacuated urgently on Saturday evening. The two-storey building, which had cracks, was inspected by specialists who confirmed the weakening of the building, leading to its evacuation, reports The Midi Dispatch.

Thirteen people had to equip their accommodation, and were relocated to a campsite, for those who could not be accommodated with relatives. The municipality has taken a decree of danger and prohibition to enter the building, the time to carry out more in-depth investigations on the structure of the building.
