Third division – Türkgücü no chance – sport

In the second game under coach Peter Hyballa, Türkgücü Munich suffered a clear defeat at third division leaders 1. FC Magdeburg: The 0: 4 (0: 1) defeat was almost too low in view of the numerous goal chances of the hosts.

At the beginning there were good chances only through defensive mistakes. For example, Türkgücü’s goalkeeper René Vollath shot at an opponent and had to save himself in dire straits (20th), on the other hand Sercan Sararer came to the ball after a bad pass, his cross came perfectly for the birthday boy Albion Vrenezi, who was 28 on Monday got old, but teammate Petar Sliskovic took the ball away from him in a worse position (22nd). In the 29th minute Vollath cleared twice worth seeing, but was defeated after half an hour: Once again, Türkgücü couldn’t get the ball away, Alexander Bittroff hit with a low shot from close range. Sliskovic had the best chance to equalize shortly before the break, but he failed at the foot of FC keeper Dominik Reimann.

Immediately after the break, Hyballa’s team continued to be self-confident, played ruthlessly offensive – and was mercilessly punished. First, Baris Atik met because Türkgücü’s defense had slept after a free kick (55th). 80 seconds later, Florian Kath increased to the cheers of around 14,800 spectators. Türkgücü tried hard, but was luckless in the opposing penalty area, while Magdeburg came up with more great chances with a no-frills game – without Vollath in goal, the defeat would have been even higher, but he too was powerless at 4-0 through Jason Ceka (82nd). “We let ourselves be slaughtered a bit,” said the goalkeeper at Magentasport. After the quarter-finals in the association cup next Saturday at TSV Aubstadt, Türkgücü welcomes SV Wehen Wiesbaden.
