An order via social media and drugs was delivered using an electric scooter. Fast and efficient, this drug delivery service had obviously found its clientele. Until the police officers of the BAC (Anti-Crime Squad) arrested the delivery man in the middle of a transaction with a customer in the city center of Nîmes. The investigation made it possible to go back to the wholesaler and led to the seizure of 2.2 kg of cannabis.
The two men were tried in direct appearance by the Nîmes criminal court on July 11. The drug supplier, who worked in the Pissevin district, in the Gard prefecture, was sentenced to two years in prison. The delivery man was placed under judicial control.
