The Toten Hosen want to collect donations for the earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey with a benefit concert in Düsseldorf.

Die Toten Hosen around frontman Campino (60) this Monday (February 13) in an Instagram post announced a benefit concert for the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria. The musicians are deeply touched by the suffering of the local population and “think particularly of those of our fellow citizens who fear and mourn for their friends and relatives in the affected areas”.

As a “small sign of sympathy and solidarity and at the same time to raise as much money as possible to alleviate the suffering”, the band will perform at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf on February 24th.

Donations are intended to support work in the disaster areas

She is supported by the alternative rock band Donots and singer Thees Uhlmann (48). All musicians waive a fee, the hall is made available free of charge and advance sales are handled free of charge.

The entire proceeds, however, after deduction of production costs, go to the Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders and Medico International “to support their work in the affected disaster areas,” the post says. Advance sales start on Wednesday, February 15 at 7 p.m. exclusively on Eventim.

The personalized tickets will cost 75 euros and four tickets can be purchased per order. More information about the concert will follow in the coming days.
