Theater in Ebersberg: Sharply observed – Ebersberg

The Ebersberger now shows two humorous character studies Theater intermediate tone: the two one-act plays “The Bear” and “The Marriage Proposal” by Anton Chekhov, premiered in 1888/89 in Saint Petersburg. The characters struggle with conflicting emotions and conventions: in “The Bear,” a landowner intent on collecting debts gets an unexpected but pleasant surprise, and in “The Marriage Proposal,” a hypochondriac and his love interest become entangled in possessiveness, competition, and… Bossiness – until this drama takes a different turn.

In any case, viewers can expect a journey through time through Chekhov’s keenly observing eyes. The play will be directed by Bina Schröer on Friday and Saturday, March 3rd and 4th. March, always at 8 p.m. in the Unterm First hall in the Ebersberger Klosterbauhof.
