The World Economic Forum (WEF) released a “toolkit” for digital autonomous organizations (DAO) on January 17, with more than 100 experts contributing to the document.tryIt will be “a starting point for the DAO to develop effective operational, regulatory and legal strategies.”
The toolkit is described in detail about DAOs and related topics. described as “A set of adaptive resources for stakeholders. to help realize its true potential.” The DAO has the potential to address many of the shortcomings of the original company. At the same time, we are more aware of good governance and equitable operations.”
The discussion began with the theme “What is a DAO?” and covered DAO operations, governance, and legal structures. and followed up with instructions for each side. This is done in a discussion format and is often generalized, e.g.
“Empowerment to Local ‘ambassadors’ or community managers with specialized knowledge of the DAO community can help facilitate onboarding and other critical operational processes.”
“Creating an adequate policy and legal framework for the DAO is critical to recognizing the benefits and minimizing the risks of this new organizational model. Creating such a regime is complicated by several proposals, such as the crypto asset reporting framework proposed by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development. and the U.S. Infrastructure Bill which can create competitive requirements for the DAO.”
