Bigflo & Oli: big winners of the NRJ Music Awards 2022

They took it all! The Toulouse brothers leave with three trophies from this new edition of the NRJ Music Awards. Bigflo & Oli were voted “Francophone Group/Duo of the Year” against 47Ter, Indochine, Louis Attaque and Terrenoire. They also shine thanks to their joint hit with Julien Doré, “Getting old”. The duo and the singer have, in fact, been acclaimed in the categories “Francophone Collaboration of the Year” and “Francophone Clip of the Year”.

Orelsan recognized in the Francophone Male Artist and Francophone Tour categories

Not one but two rewards! New album “Civilization”, incredible tour, documentary on Amazon Prime, duet with Angèle… Nothing stops Orelsan anymore. The Caen rapper has broad support from the public, which names him “Francophone Male Artist of the Year” at the NRJ Music Awards 2022. Aurélien also leaves with the very first prize in the history of the ceremony: “Francophone Tour”.

NRJ Music Awards 2022: Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran at the top of the international categories

“As it Was” is indeed THE hit of the year! The song which marks the return of Harry Styles in 2022, is elected “International Song of the Year” but also “International Clip of the Year”. On melancholy and soft sounds, the former member of One Direction sings: “In this world there’s only us / You know it’s not the same as before.”

Ed Sheeran is also once again acclaimed by the French public. The Brit leaves with two new trophies during this new edition of the NRJ Music Awards. He won the “International Male Artist of the Year” award and shone alongside Camila Cabello in the “International Collaboration of the Year” category for “BamBam”.

DJ of the Year Winner: David Guetta

The most followed French DJ internationally adds a fifth trophy to his collection of NRJ Music Awards. David Guetta is crowned “DJ of the year” in 2022! Timeless hits, exceptional collaborations… These last few months have been synonymous with success for the superstar.

Winner of International Female Artist of the Year: Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga has a habit of winning all the biggest prizes on the planet. The Mother Monster was once again acclaimed by the French public and won the Award for “International Female Artist of the Year” at the NRJ Music Awards 2022. It must be said that the singer made everyone agree with his participation in the soundtrack of “Top Gun: Maverick” and his hit hold my hand“. In June 2022, the star kicked off his long-awaited ‘The Chromatica Ball’ tour and set the Stade de France on fire in July.

And three! After leaving in 2019 with two prizes, Angèle is again elected “Francophone Female Artist” of the year in this 24th edition of the NRJ Music Awards. The Belgian superstar was unanimous in 2021 with the second album of his career “Nonante-Cinq”. An opus which recently had the right to a reissue including the brilliant hit “Amour, Haine et Danger”.

Winner of International Group/Duo of the Year: Imagine Dragons

Needless to present the many successes of the Imagine Dragons over the years: “Radioactive”, “Believer” or even “Wrecked”… After receiving an honorary prize for their career last year, the group was crowned “Groupe/ International Duo of the Year” at the NRJ Music Awards 2022!

Winner of the Francophone Revelation of the Year: Lujipeka

A very promising start to his career… The former member of the Columbine group wins his very first NRJ Music Award! After reaching new heights thanks to his album “Montagnes Russes” and his titles “Poupée Russe” and “Fucking era”the young singer is consecrated during this 24th edition.

Winner of International Newcomer of the Year: Sofia Carson

The rising American star is supported by the French public. Sofia Carson capsizes hearts with her performance in “Our Broken Hearts”, on Netflix. A role that also allows her to reveal all her talents as a singer, in particular thanks to the hit hit “Come Back Home”. We find her the big winner of the “International Revelation of the Year” at the NRJ Music Awards 2022.

Social Hit winners: “All is well” – ALONZO feat. NINHO & NAPS

You all danced to these lyrics: “My darling wants Yves Saint Lau’-Lau’ / I give you my heart, don’t do a boo (yes) / Don’t cry, zehef, I’m taking the picture / Everything is fine, eh-eh”. Alonzo, Ninho and Naps are the lucky winners of the very first “Social Hit” prize from the NRJ Music Awards. It must be said that when the Marseille rapper invites Ninho and Naps it gives sparks. Their collaboration “Everything is going well” has been trending on TikTok since its release last May.

Winner of the Cover / Adaptation: “Suavemente” – Soolking

All smiles on Soolking. Already winner of an NRJ Music Award in 2020 with Dadju for the “Francophone Collaboration of the Year”, the singer puts sunshine in hearts thanks to his cover of Elvis Crespo, “Suavely”. For the occasion, Soolking speeds up the original tempo and sings in French. Result: he leaves with the “Resumption / Adaptation” trophy, in 2022.

Winner of the Francophone Song of the Year: “Qui on est” by M.Pokora

It’s a great end to the evening for Matt Pokora! He walks away with the coveted “Francophone Song of the Year” award for his hit “Qui on est”. A great way to celebrate 20 years of career.
