First look at the new “The Voice” coaches: Shirin David shines next to Giovanni Zarrella, Ronan Keating and the Kaulitz twins.

Everything new with “The Voice of Germany”: The shooting for the new season started on Tuesday. With Shirin David (28), Ronan Keating (46), Giovanni Zarrella (45) and Bill and Tom Kaulitz (both 33), five stars are sitting on the buzzer in front of the red chair for the first time. The sold-out recordings of the blind auditions ended on Monday.

In the first official press photo, Shirin David beams into the camera framed by her male colleagues. All five already have plenty of casting experience. Zarrella rose to fame as part of the pop stars band Bro’Sis. Today he is a successful solo artist and moderates the “Die Giovanni Zarrella Show” named after him on ZDF. The band Boyzone was also the result of a casting call. Keating has also served as a jury member on the Australian version of The X Factor.

In 2017, David sat next to Dieter Bohlen (69) in the 14th season of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”. Tom and Bill Kaulitz also bring “DSDS” experience with them. It’s been ten years since the successful twins rated the singing talents in season ten of the RTL show.

“The Voice of Germany” will again be moderated by Melissa Khalaj (34) and Thore Schölermann (38). ProSieben and Sat.1 will alternately show the new season from autumn 2023.
