Strong thunderstorm activity coming up from the Mediterranean is expected. The prefectures of Var and Bouches-du-Rhône, have placed their respective departments on orange alert “storms-rain-floods” from this Sunday evening, 10 pm. The weather for Monday is also announced to be unstable and the alert is also valid for that day. The rainfall should be abundant and very localized, causing possible flooding.
Strong thunderstorm lines, accompanied by violent phenomena, will cross the territories, locally causing strong gusts of winds and possibly hailstorms.
