The United States advises its tourists against traveling to France



The increase in the number of hospitalizations due to Covid-19 in France – which crossed the 9,000 patient mark for the first time since June – is not only worrying at the national level:
United States have just recommended to their fellow citizens “to avoid traveling to France”.

“If you have to travel to France, make sure you are fully vaccinated before your departure”, specifies, in the same message, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the US health agency.

France’s Covid-19 alert level at level 4

By raising France’s Covid-19 alert level to level 4 (the maximum), the latter intends to warn of the high level of circulation of the virus. “Due to the current situation [dans le pays], even fully vaccinated travelers potentially risk contracting and spreading Covid-19 variants, ”finally details the American health agency, which recently placed Israel, Thailand, Iceland and Greece in level 4.
