1:48 p.m. : For several days, the town of Soledar has been the scene of heavy fighting between Russian and Ukrainian forces. The clashes spread to neighboring villages, leading to the flight of many civilians. “When you see your neighbors burned alive, you understand that death can strike you”, says one of these inhabitants.

• Plane crash in Nepal kills at least 67, local police said. Seventy-two people were on board the aircraft.
• The results of the collapse of a building in Dnipro, hit by an airstrike yesterday, is now at least 21 dead and 71 injured. Thirty-nine people were rescued and around forty are still missing.
