The observation is the same for several other songs which marked the episodes of the previous weeks. For example, between February 19 and 21, Social Suicide from Orelsan saw its streams increase by 785% and, between March 5 and 7, the streams of Little guy – Suzane’s song that Florent Pagny himself confessed not knowing – marked an increase of 715%. Even more impressive: between March 13 and 14, the streams of I am a grave by Vincent Baguian grew by 57,500% and
Blues by Régine of… 121,000%! A Deezer spokesperson tells us that the songs with these five or six figure progressions did not start from zero streams and that there was “really, an explosion of the streams in the two days following the shows” concerned.

If the production of The Voice has a say in the songs performed during the show, these daring or original choices are also to the credit of the candidates. “The talents selected after a first series of casting arrive at the stage of keying with a list of songs.
