“The Summer House of the Stars”
Puke, cheese and cabal
The anti-vegan alliance around Raúl wants to throw out Tessa and Jakob as well as Emma and Umut. But one couple doesn’t stick to their agreement.
Umut Tekin (27) and Emma Fernlund (23) are increasingly isolating themselves in the “summer house of the stars” – also spatially. At the beginning of the fourth episode (Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. on RTL and a week before on RTL+) they separate from their roommates and sit down in the sun to eat. Interpersonal contact with the other celebrities has also been broken; Umut, for example, remotely diagnoses Stefan Kleiser (57) as having a “psychosis”.
In the challenge, the couple also becomes estranged internally – despite wearing pink partner-look shirts with the inscription “Emut”. The male parts of the couples have to memorize where which items are on a shelf. They then have to tell the women or Sam Dylan (33), who have to correctly put away an empty shelf on a rotating platform.
“It’s not that hard, just shut up,” Emma says to her upset. But the other pairs also have a hard time, both with memorizing and rotating. Vanessa Schmitt (28) even swallows her vomit, as she freely admits, but at some point she can no longer keep it down and relieves herself in a bucket. Nevertheless, the model and partner cut Raúl Richter (37) came best. The ex-“GZSZ” actor bows to his girlfriend and gives her sole credit for the victory.
“Apparent boss” Raul instigates intrigue – Alessia freaks out
In the summer house, Raul degrades his partner again. She has to stand there while he and other participants retreat to the bathroom to tact. The Emut team and the Vegan team made up of Tessa Bergmeier (35) and her Jakob (39) are the victims of the cabal. Emut should receive three votes in the nomination, the vegans two. This ensures that even in an exit challenge, the two hated couples would have to compete against each other. This is determined by the “apparent boss” (Stefan) of the intrigue, namely Raúl.
In addition to Raúl and Vanessa, Alessia Herren (22) and her husband Can (29) are also safe from being nominated; they qualified in the last episode. Protected in this way, Alessia lets go of all inhibitions. She insults Tessa in the worst possible way. What exactly she says remains unclear; the editorial team bleeps over almost every word she says. “Sick piece” is apparently one of the most harmless expressions, and in any case it is not censored.
Perfidious slaughter festival for anti-vegans
The bone of contention was once again the meatless food. Tessa had complained that her roommates were eating vegan cheese and more for her and Jakob.
Production then also adds fuel to the fire. They offer the unwilling vegetarians the prospect of a barbecue. With real meat. The perfidious thing about it: The participants have to unanimously agree to the barbecue with an absolute majority. Tessa and Jakob give in so as not to make themselves even more unpopular. But the tablecloth remains cut.
So “animal corpses” (Tessa) end up on the gridiron on a large scale. Whether normal people (Raúl), rednecks (Alessia), pseudo-intellectuals (Stefan) or queers (Sam): everyone can agree on the love of meat, which one does not want to be forbidden. And the contempt for vegans.
Deviants cause intrigue to fail
After the barbecue comes the slaughter: the vote on the expulsion. Alessia continues to provoke Tessa uninhibitedly and is also successful. Gloria Glumac (32) also attacks Tessa out of nowhere and suddenly screams at her.
Is the intrigue of the “Alliance” (Umut) around Raúl working? No. Because Stefan and Theresia Fischer (32) deviate from the directive of the “apparent boss”. Instead of voting for Umut and Emma as agreed, they vote against Tessa and Jakob. In order not to offer the vegan extremists a “political stage” (Stefan).
So Tessa and Jakob get four negative votes, Umut and Emma only two. The votes of these two couples go to Theresia and Stefan. It happens as it has to happen: If there is a tie, Jakob and Tessa get to decide who they will compete against in an exit challenge. Of course they choose Stefan and Theresia.
Emut and Team Vegan are now on top and are happy about the surprising turnaround. If Tessa and Jakob win the exit challenge and then save one of the incriminated couples in the next episode, the situation in the house could turn to the disadvantage of the schemers around Raúl. Meanwhile, they tear themselves apart after violating the agreement, which the production comments on with the ironic musical accompaniment of “That’s What Friends Are For”. The direction seems to be more than just secretly on the side of the Outsiders.
