They had joined the national strike movement on October 11. Employees of the TotalEnergies refinery in Donges, near Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique), voted on Wednesday afternoon to end the strike. The conflict was, as in the rest of the oil group, on a revaluation of wages in a context of inflation.

“In responsibility and in conscience, the end of the strike was announced for the operating staff from 1 p.m. and for the day staff from 5 p.m.”, declares Fabien Privé Saint-Lanne, CGT secretary, to the from a general meeting. The Donges refinery is the second largest in France in terms of production, behind the Total refinery in Gronfreville-L’Orcher (Seine-Maritime).

The refineries of Gonfreville and La Mède (Bouches-du-Rhône) are still on strike for the time being, as are the oil depots of Feyzin (Rhône) and Flandres (Nord).
