The Socialist Party unveils its 56 invested out of 70, including Olivier Faure

The (small) list of the Socialist Party for the legislative elections is almost complete. The PS unveiled Tuesday evening a first wave of 56 candidates invested in the New Popular Ecological and Social Union (Nupes). In total, as part of the new alliance on the left bringing together LFI, EELV, PS and PCF for the elections of June 12 and 19, the Socialists will have 70 candidates invested.

In this list is in particular the First Secretary of the PS Olivier Faure in the 11th district of Seine-et-Marne. There is also the patron saint of deputies Valérie Rabault in the 1st constituency of Tarn-et-Garonne. There are also about fifteen outgoing deputies, including Boris Vallaud (3rd constituency of Landes), Guillaume Garot (1st of Mayenne) or Dominique Potier (5th of Meurthe-et-Moselle), who nevertheless declared that he did not want not be invested in the name of Nupes.

Finally, among the newly invested, are in particular the negotiator of the agreement with LFI Pierre Jouvet (4th of the Drôme), Laurent Baumel (4th of Indre-et-Loire), the former deputy Jérôme Guedj (6th of the ‘Essonne), or even the deputy mayor of Paris Olga Polski (11th in Paris).
