The ring road partly flooded, Bison smart foresees “significant difficulties”

Drivers in Nantes are unfortunately familiar with the problem. As regularly in winter, a portion of the ring road, around the Porte de la Chapelle, has once again been flooded since 5 a.m. this Tuesday morning, reports Bison smart.

Blame it on the passage of storm Gérard and the “heavy rains of recent days” which gradually raised the level of the Gesvres, until the river completely got out of its bed. A phenomenon resulting in the neutralization of the right lane in the outward direction.

Thus, Bison smart predicts “an increase in congestion phenomena” with “significant traffic difficulties” in the coming hours. Motorists will have to be patient since “the duration of the event is indefinite”.
