It marked the arrival of Renault in the family SUV niche: the Koleos. That was in 2006, and it had since had a second generation in 2016, marketed almost everywhere in the world, and more particularly in Europe, China and Korea. It will soon leave the European market, after more than 16 years on our roads. It was no longer available for sale in the UK, Italy or even France anyway. Germany, Poland or the Czech Republic still offered it, but its reprieve ends today.

Renault recently formalized the return of the name “Espace”, another emblematic model of the brand. Far from being a new model, the Espace will in fact be an extended seven-seater version of the Austral. It is he who will replace the Koleos in the Renault range. In Europe at least, since for the moment he is pursuing his career elsewhere in the world…
