All of French football is impatiently awaiting Christophe Galtier’s press conference this Friday (1 p.m.), on the eve of the PSG-RC Lens match. According to this letter written by Julien Fournier last year, Galtier would have asked him to “take into account the reality of the city of Nice and that we could not have so many blacks and Muslims in the team”.
A complaint for harassment and death threats
The former football director of OGC Nice specified, about this famous exchange with Christophe Galtier: “He said to me: “I went to the restaurant and everyone fell on me saying that we We have a black team. Julien, you must realize what city we are in, we are in the city of Jacques Médecin [ancien maire de Nice]and our team does not correspond to what people want, as it does not correspond to me”. There was no sporting argument but only religious or skin color arguments”.
A final complaint against X will finally be filed by Christophe Galtier for harassment and death threats, since he is currently under protection after having received numerous threats.
