In a press release, the prefect Pascale Bolot “condemns these actions as well as the unacceptable behavior of which the elected official and his family are victims”. The prefect takes the opportunity to recall “the legal nature of the building permit”.
This assertion is based on the study of administrative documents carried out by the State services to authorize the construction of the DIY store. The regional directorate of cultural affairs (Drac) had mentioned “the non-major nature of the stones discovered” during a diagnosis carried out in 2015. An opinion shared by the architect of the Buildings of France and the commercial development commission which had permit to validate the building permit. In accordance with the local urban plan (PLU), the permit was granted in 2022, authorizing the construction of Mr.Bricolage.
