The Nuremberg-Ingolstadt railway line is free again after a disruption – Bavaria

The rail link between Nuremberg and Ingolstadt was reopened for long-distance traffic early on Saturday morning. The reason for the blocking of the route was a power failure, as a railway spokeswoman said on Friday. Several tunnels in the section could therefore not be used.

According to a spokesman on Saturday morning, some trains were diverted via Treuchtlingen and some via Augsburg. According to the information, the disruption had existed since around 3:30 p.m. on Friday. On Saturday at 1.45 a.m. it was fixed, as the spokesman said.
