The Munich Radio Orchestra and Udo Wachtveitl in the Prinzregententheater – Munich

Female vengeful spirits, a suicidal nun, a crowd of spectators enjoying beheadings – this evening at the Prinzregententheater is not for the faint-hearted. These are not opera lovers anyway, and they are well served at the Munich Radio Orchestra’s Sunday concert. It combines a flower reading of Giaccomo Puccini’s works with an audio biography. In the first part of the evening, Udo Wachtveitl, an experienced BR audio biography speaker, leads through the career of the composer, who died 100 years ago, in a pleasantly sober reading voice.
