What happened to the idea of progress? From the enthusiasm for Eiffel Towers, Silver Arrows, moon landings and – of course, this is what this is about – vaccines? The world and science are giving away a historical moment. Because the mRNA vaccines are not only the fastest way out of the misery of the pandemic, but also the beginning of a scientific revolution. Perhaps one could communicate that in such a way that the spirit of this revolution also accelerates the way out of misery. However, this global eureka moment is just being lost.
