The militant action failed to turn to the drama, on the lawn of the Allianz Arena in Munich, just before the kick-off of France-Germany. An activist from the environmental association Greenpeace, arrived above the stadium in a microlight type machine, almost crashed into the stand when this Group F Euro match was about to begin.

The pilot flew over the lawn with “Kick out Oil” inscribed on his wing, before being unbalanced by a cable carrying the “Spider Cam”, an aerial camera to film the meeting of above. It was difficult to restore the controls before grazing a grandstand and crashing, without damage, on the grass.
