The Last Generation: This is their plan for the European elections

The protest of the last generation continues: no longer only on the streets, but soon also in the EU Parliament. Lina Johnsen now wants to be elected there.

The road to parliament begins at the beginning of March in front of the Leipzig Office for Statistics and Elections. Lina Johnsen stands in the way of a young man and holds out a piece of paper to him. Would he like to sign for the last generation so that they can stand in the EU elections?

A stack of supporting signatures is already in Johnsen’s backpack, but she still has blank pieces of paper. “It’s not like we want to do politics,” Johnsen explains to the man. “I’m going in there to bang on the table. And to say, people, we need to restructure our system.”
