the heartbreaking letter from his mother

Unable to speak live, this mother had written a text, read by a friend this Thursday evening on the air of BFMTV. A short missive in which she evokes “Lucas, our little man”, a “victim of more, victim of too much, of school harassment”. Then to wonder: “how many white marches, suffering children and cruelly affected families […] will it still be necessary for concrete actions to finally be put in place? »

“I won’t let you go”

Before concluding: “I can assure you that when I’m ready, I won’t let you go. I will spend my life continuing to fight Lucas. »

Statements for National Education. Minister Pap Ndiaye reacted to this tragedy via Twitter, hammering home his “determination to prevent all forms of harassment”. “No child should find suicide as the ultimate outcome,” he recalled.

The investigation was entrusted to the Epinal police station in order to “establish the reality of the facts denounced and the causal link with the suicide”, according to the prosecution. The family’s lawyer, Me Catherine Faivre, indicated that she had not filed a complaint “at this stage”: “we will see in a second time. The family wishes to bury their son in peace.”
