“The mother is on her way to find her daughter, the news is good”, indicated the prosecutor on our antenna, specifying that the Danish social services “take the greatest care” of Eya until the arrival of her mother. .

The public prosecutor of Grenoble first announced to Eya’s mother’s lawyer that the child was found in the town of Rødbyhavn: “I preferred that it was her who told him.”

“We were all mobilized”

Éric Vaillant, who clarified that the little girl was doing “very well” without giving more details, also praised on our antenna the “great work of the Grenoble police officers, the police officers of the Paris judicial police and the international police officers, in particular Danish ” .

“For more than thirty hours we have all been mobilized on this kidnapping”, he added, welcoming the “formidable international cooperation”.

Eya’s father, a man of Tunisian and Swedish nationality, was arrested, as was his accomplice in the kidnapping. “They will be handed over in the coming weeks to the Grenoble investigating judge who will put them on trial and the prosecutor that I am will request their placement in pre-trial detention on their arrival”, specified Éric Vaillant.
