Meteo France placed two departments, Gard and Hérault, in orange vigilance, Friday June 9. Thunderstorms and heavy rain may occur overnight from Friday to Saturday, with a risk of flooding.

In the event of violent thunderstorms, it is recommended to avoid moving and taking shelter in a solid building. It is also necessary to protect the goods exposed to the wind or which can be flooded and to avoid using the telephone and the electrical appliances. If you are outdoors, stay away from trees and streams. In the event of flooding, it is advisable to saway from watercourses and low points, reach a high point or take shelter upstairs.
